Foresight

The implication of foresight is to focus on long-term thinking. We all know foresight is important, how can we get it? It Includes tolerance, endurance and forgiveness. What is tolerance? According to Tseng Kuo-fan's words, its first meaning is a superior power of self-control, has the method of tolerance, it means forgiveness to others, but tolerance to ourselves. What is true endurance? It means you did do sincere dedication, you won't feel wronged when you bear grievance. That is true endurance. While, what is grievance? The grievance is not actual grievance if you can say it out. It is common grievance. And those grievances which do not say out can enlarge one's personal mind, and this will help his achievement. Grievance can enlarge our tolerance; we can obtain achievement just when we own tolerance.. Life isn't a bed of roses; we can't bear the unsatisfied things without the tolerance. Tolerance means enduring misery, hardships and leisure. We should be appreciated about grievance, setback and trough, endure misery that normal people can't endure. Just as Mencius said when Heaven is about to place a great responsibility on a great man, it always first frustrates his spirit and will, exhausts his muscles and bones, exposes him to starvation and poverty, harasses him by troubles and setbacks so as to stimulate his spirit, toughen his nature and enhance his abilities. If you want to be a successful person, you would have to hone the temperament because it is the necessary element of success.  An old saying said that All rivers run into sea, tolerance brings respect, stand bolt upright, One can be austere if he has no selfish desires. Lao Tzu said the (state of) vacancy should be brought to the utmost degree, and that of stillness guarded with unwearying vigor. All things alike go through their processes of activity, and (then) we see them return (to their original state). When things (in the vegetable world) have displayed their luxuriant growth, we see each of them return to its root. This returning to their root is what we call the state of stillness; and that stillness may be called a reporting that they have fulfilled their appointed end. The report of that fulfillment is the regular, unchanging rule. To know that unchanging rule is to be intelligent; not to know it leads to wild movements and evil issues. The knowledge of that unchanging rule produces a (grand) capacity and forbearance, and that capacity and forbearance lead to a community (of feeling with all things). From this community of feeling comes a kingliness of character; and he who is king-like goes on to be heaven-like. In that likeness to heaven he possesses the Tao. Possessed of the Tao, he endures long; and to the end of his bodily life, is exempt from all danger of decay. Obviously, visible impatience, don't expect them to have the heart of tolerance is agreed, conform to the agreed to work life, is there not successful reason?

"The Vajra Paramita Sutra" is saying, "and (on the other hand) another man comprehended that all dharmas were egoless and thereby achieved perfection of patience (ksanti), the latter's merit would surpass that of the former". This shows the key point of one man's merit and character state is "tolerance". Hence, we should dominate and purify our mind for practicing. Many a people feel that it's too hard. I would like to declare that if you can accept "Sincerity and Sacrifice", do as "Tao Te Ching" and "The Vajra Paramita Sutra" told you the importance of "No Self" and "Altruism" and recognize the importance of patience and tolerance, then you will feel it's right and proper to do so and terrible for not doing like that. Lots of people also feel that patience and tolerance are hard to achieve. If you read "Tao Te Ching", you will have a sentiment that no contrast between the good and the bad, there will not be "good". Hence, only you change yourself, you can change others. Rage and impatience are both the performance of incompetence.

The leaders a company should bear the cost of restarting business, focusing on doing the basic welfare of employees, providing better training courses and guiding on the employment and values. Experienced employees should bear freshman's inexperience train them patiently. We are doing international business which means it will take long time for getting experience and customers' accumulation; if we have no patience, we will achieve nothing at all.

Maybe somebody think that I have the spirit of Ah Q. But I would like to give you some examples, Hanxin can be remembered by his name because he can stand under the cross of shame. We also know the reason of Wang Anshi gets the good reputation of "broad-minded" and the position of prime minister. As is known to all, Deng Xiaoping and Liu Shaoqi are very famous characters in Chinese modern history. During the Cultural Revolution, both of them due to be framed, was forced to resign, and were imprisoned. Mr. Deng still played bridge with others cheerfully and humorously, while, Mr. Liu has another psychology. He wept bitterly when he was criticized and struggled. So, you can image their different destiny. Mr. Deng not only rehabilitated also got the NBA republic of the position, and also has become the chief designer of Chinese reform, opening up and socialist modernization, founder of the theory of Deng Xiaoping. Mr. Liu died disconsolately. You did it in good faith, dedication, No Self, altruism, without asking for anything, bearish income, you will naturally be able to, naturally far-sighted, dim fame and fortune, you will naturally give a quiet heart and have great wisdom. People who has great wisdom always smile happily. With tolerance, a good attitude, nothing cannot to be done? It can be said as Ah Q spirit?
